Smoothbeam – I'm afraid! [dermatologist] [scars]

My regular dermatologist referred me to a cosmetic dermatologist because he thought it time to start treating my scars.
So today, I had my first appointment.
This doctor gave me such a quick run-down on my other option and I felt pretty much told that I would get Smoothbeam done. I have agreed and have my first treatment Friday week.
I have no idea whether Im being ripped off or getting a good deal – I pay $ 350 for the first treatment and $ 255 for the next two (Australian doll

Is there something like a frozen mask? [face mask] [frozen face]

Let me try to make sense. I have a face mask suitable for recycling, plastic and freezing things in that will, I just pop into the freezer and use it as I need it, but this only covers the eye area, do they make that is larger, which covers the entire face? I have not ever found one, but thought maybe someone there knows where I can buy. Thanks! : Confused:

taz, then Accutane . first breakout [accutane] [tazorac]

Ive been engaged since February last week Tazorac Accutane. So, I had this brainstorm (and I hope its correct). As Taz is actually topical Accutane, it was all that “purify” I went by Taz on everything I will have? So far it seems that my skin is just better on Accutane, as I will not be the first breakthrough. Oh, I hope this is what happens!

Now I prob. just cursed myself)

Thanks.

My first cyst! Please help [cortisone shot] [bad acne]

Wow, I had bad acne for a long long time, but now Im off accutane I have almost completely erased. Now I say almost because I have this huge cyst on the left side of my nose. It feels literally like this huge bump and it looks red / purple on the outside. Very ugly.

Now what can I do? I know that a cortisone shot will get rid of, because it worked perfectly on my neck and cyst had completely disappeared within a few days. Yet my derm booked solid and certainly no time for a cortisone

patient assistance program [patient assistance program] [acne sufferer]

Hello everyone. It seemed to me I was a potentially valuable resource for a fellow acne sufferer found here and must also share with everyone. There is a program for people who need medication and can not afford the exorbitant prices. You can search using the words, “Roche help the patient” and it will bring the right page, or you can call 877-757-6243 for free. I have no ties to Roche, btw, but I know firsthand the emotional destruction of acne and frusteration with not being able to access to
