Reply:well i got a few friends cured this way
i think the use of antibiotic is to reduce the use of accutane ..thus no need for 5-6 mths full dose treatment, not very sure though

Reply:Unless you need to take the antibiotics for health reason, I would get off the antibiotics and just take the regular dosage of Accutane.

Reply:oh cos i am on antibiotics too…

Reply:20mgs is to low. Like Zschock said it can take 5 to 6 month or even 2 weeks after post accutane.

Reply:Why are you on such a low dosage? Most people take 40mg daily, and your taking 20mg every other day. With a lower dosage, it?s going to take longer to affect your acne.

Reply:All I know is some people don't start getting better on accutane until the treatment is almost over, which is 5-6 months i think. Sometimes their skin doesn't even respond to 1 treatment, it might take several, just depends on the how severe your acne is and how well your body handles the accutane I guess.

I just started accutane and I'm hoping that it doesn't take more than 1 treatment to get rid of my acne.
