Accutane and Health Insurance! [face acne] [oil skin]

Im completely out of my mind to go on Accutane. I am a 25 man, I have very oil skin. I had acne since I was 12. :-( My face acne began to clear when I was 21. However, I currently have little or no acne on my face, my back / chest / shoulders / arms suffering from severe acne that frighten every small breaks, and many of them. These suckers began lighting a few bumps here and there. no big deal, when I was 15, but got worse when my face began to clear acne.

If I wore a shirt with long sleeves, you will not even consider me as someone who suffers from acne. I tried Retin-A, antibiotics pills, Clindamycin phosphate topical gel, benzoyl peroxide cream and Sulfacet RX-R. I tried all those suckers months, there was no improvement. Retin-A was a small difference though, but just made them worse Antibiotics. I would consider switching doctors (This man is an idiot). He does not understand that I need to design it is years, and Im really getting horny. :-)

Crap! I almost forgot my main question. I have insurance and I wanted to know if Accutane is covered by the generic drugs, does it?

I currently have prescription drug coverage of $ 10 for generics, $ 35 (copay) for brand name drugs after $ 750 brand deductible. There is a doctor visit, 30% of the negotiated price. Theres $ 25 fee for periodic health exam, and Labwork / X-ray is 30% of the negotiated price.

BTW, the blood / liver as a test laboratory work? Thanks

Reply:Well I'm in the process of going on accutane. My derm told me that since I have try at least to other oral meds, my insurance will cover it. As long as you have tried another, cheaper way to try and clear it up it saves the insurance company money to just pay the lump sum to clear you up and not have to worry about paying out every month. Wish me luck on the Accutane!

Reply:since you brought it up bopping and/or having sex may increase your acne so be careful!

Are you kidding?! I'll take 10 pimple to get laid. :-D

Reply:I don't use the generic Accutane so I pay $35 for my monthly prescription. And yes, blood testing is considered lab work.

Reply:You can get a generic Accutane called Claravis or others it depends were you go get it. Yes if you get the generic it will be like 8 dollars if you get the Accutane brand name it will be like 40 or more.

Reply:Can't a brother get a response?! Please. ;-(
