Accutane and in the summer? [accutane] [time cause]

Ok what if I start Accutane at this time what can I expect? According to a first breakthrough? how long will that last? and when summer begins, I work outside all day, like 8-9 hours. I have read that Accutane should stay away from you the sun, wear sunscreen can I? or wait until next winter when I am inside most of the time?

Cause I have B-5 for 5 months and I still get some acne, Im still one month, and then I try Accutane cause ACN **** ing crap as my face.

Reply:you have been on accutane that long? so do you get zits ever? i am finishing a course of five months. what do you think a good main. dose for me would be? i was thinking maybe 20 mgs a week

Reply:Ive taken accutane now for a long time as a maintenance dose of 40 mg every other day. I have to wear hats and sunscreen, and it has never affected me adversly during the sunny days. I worked in a greenhouse for 2 1/2 years while taking this.

Pick up a few hats, and use an OIL FREE spf 45 sunscreen. You may have to experiment or ask your derm what brand, but I use coppertone and have for the past 5 years.
