Accutane in cream form [isotrex] [accutane]

Has anyone ever tried accutane in cream form? There is a product called Isotrex that the active ingredient accutane (isotretinon it) into. It is not available in the U.S. yet, but you can order it online. I ordered it today so it should be here in a few days. Ill let you know how it works. Ive tried Mino, BP, etc. None of these works. I know that Accutane is the only thing that definitely works, but thought I would try this before oral Accutane.

I normally do not order something from abroad, but a friend of mine came across a body building message board, tried it and said it worked wonders (he has about the same amount of acne I).

Reply:I used a topical isotret a couple years ago. It is available in the US. There is a doctor in Seattle that makes and sells it. I thought she was the only one and didn't know it could be found anywhere else.
It's okay. Seems to work best on clogged pores and oily skin.

Reply:The cream you?re talking about doesn?t have anything in common with Accutane. Accutane is basically just a very high dosage of vitamin A. Any time you overdose with a vitamin (like Accutane) your going to get a lot of side effects, which is why Accutane has so many. Accutane works entirely on the inside of your body. There?s no way it could be duplicated through a cream. With this said, I?m not saying that the cream doesn?t work, I?m just saying that its not going to be like Accutane.

Reply:It's not the same as retin-a, etc. Retin-A's active ingredient is tretinon and not isotretinon. They are similar as they both come from vitamin a but they are different. There is not too much information on it because it is not available in the US yet. You have to go on international message boards to talk to people who use it. The notion of accutane needing to be IN the body I think pertains to how long it will be effective for. Not whether or not it actually works applying it orally. I guess I'll find out soon enough.

Reply:that would be nice if it worked, let us know.

Reply:i believe this is like other topical retinoids such as retin-a, differin, etc.
it is derived from vitamin a and is meant to decrease oil and clear pores but is not exactly a cream form of accutane which works internally.

Reply:dunno how itd even work then, i thought accutane needs to be in the body, but ya never know, good luck
