any idea what this could be? [cystic acne] [accutane]
Hi, I was on accutane about 4 years ago and had terrible cystic acne that before and after accutane in fact it went away, except for an occasional small pimple. But the past three weeks Ive really had a strange sort of break on my cheeks. I always had acne before Accutane was large, inflamed cysts. Now I have this small, pinhole-sized bumps, probably about ten on each cheek, which barely rise from the skin, and you can not even tell that she bumps when I am not under direct light and my face in a corner . It would not even much of a problem, except that they are very very red, so it just looks like both my cheeks turn bright red. I honestly do not even know if the acne, it would be even a rash, its hard to say. It began three weeks ago when I was on a long three days road trip from Phoenix to Houston. My skin is always red and irritated when I drive long distances, even at night. It will go away for a few days and then come back for a few days and this cycle is over three weeks now. And the red marks always seem to come back in exactly the same place. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, if you have suggestions about what I could do? Would it be a rash or sounds like another form of acne, or would simply dry skin due to the weather? Ive never had this problem before, so I doubt that any type of allergic reaction to food, because my diet has not changed. Any help would be appreciated.
