Reply:So far the Skinoren seems to be drying up those stubborn zits I had a problem with getting rid of with Benzoyl peroxide.Also,from what I can see, it seems like this Skinoren is turning every red spot I ever had from leftover picked at past zits, and turning them into tiny zits that heal up leaving normal looking skin.Its like healing those red marks and making them disappear.Seems like its clearimg out my pores.I'm still breaking out but I think after all this initial breakout is over with my skin will look better as the Skinoren leaves no red marks behind.This stuff does not dry out my skin and I have been using tons of it.I guess its a matter of patience right now waiting for this Skinoren to finish doing its job.I'm getting my hopes up again.

Reply:guy – I don't think I did. I'm pretty sure I was using doctor reccommended soap back then, too. I was probably just one of those who it didn't have a good effect on.

Reply:I started using Azelex after my skin became resistant to benzamyacin. I was looking for a way to control all the little pimples and bumps. It didn't help.

What I did like about it though was how much calmer it made my face look after I applied it.

The only thing that has worked for me so far is avoiding sugar and most processed foods.

Reply:GE, did you start using products along with it? Skinoren and Azelex are great with combined treatment only not at the same time. THey should be used only by themselves at night or in the morning, or both. If you combine Azelaic acid with anything sulfur, bp, or zinc, you might start to break out. Very irratating to the skin.

Reply:I used azelaic acid cream about a year and a half ago for quite awhile. It worked ok at first, it didn't clear up my skin but it definitly improved it. But after awhile, it began to have the opposite effect – it made me break out the worst it's ever been.

How is it affecting your skin- are you dry, red, oily, etc? did you experience an initial breakout? Is your acne cystic? How long before you noticed results?
