Ok I know this question has been asked a hundred times but I could not find the clear answers. I actually have not read that they faded brown stains 100%. Its always “Im seeing improvements.” So I want to know if anyone had any success there pale brown / pigmented 100% or 90%?
your answers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. : Angel:
Reply:Try Origins Modern Friction. It's amazing stuff…
Reply:The AVC is in and of itself a product that helps reduce spots left from old acne. It helps to even out skin tone.
In most cases, people use creams after the ACV because it can be drying, and they need extra moisture in their skin. The creams do not necessarily aid in the fading of the acne marks.
so what cream's that are inexpensive will help reduce dryness along with ACV? Is what mo used inexpensive?

Reply:O.K Now I am confused. What I don't understand about this board, is you ask questions, and then when people say what they do that helps them you get an attitude and try to challenge them about it when all they are trying to do is help.
I said that ACV helps me. Obviously different people will get different results. Apple Cider Vinegar is known as a natural exfoliant. There is nothing else inside of the ACV except ACV. If you want to learn for yourself, then do a search online or go to the library and look it up.
For the comment about why I use other "creams and moisturizers" with the ACV. Hello? I am not doing anything different than what other people do. Don't most people moisturize their skin after cleansing it? Don't people use masks to help tighten pores, help with oil, get rid of blackheads, etc? I never said the mask and the moisturizer helped get rid of the brown spots. But they do help to keep MY skin clear. I thought that I would do everyone a favor by listing exactly what I do every morning and evening, b/c I figured that people would ask. I SAID that when I added ACV that the BROWN SPOTS seemed to diminish faster for me.
For those that want to know if the ACV stinks. OF COURSE IT DOES. LOL! But it really is NOT that serious. The smell goes away within a couple of minutes and when your face dries, the smell goes away. I've never had anyone around me (neither my boyfriend nor my mom) tell me that my face stinks. And Trust me, they would let me know. By the way, I am female.
Unlike some people I am honestly trying not to offend anyone. My first comment that I made in this reply was definitely not directed towards everyone. Although I am not on this board often, through reading other people's posts I noticed that people can be really rude sometimes, and it's pretty annoying. I think the people that are outwardly rude (throughout this board and not just in this discussion) if you actually read people's post the first time or stopped trying to challenge everything that everyone said, that maybe you would be able to fix your problem.
I just want to clear things up by saying, I've never had an attitude throughout this thread. I'm sorry for any confusion or frustration, but I was also confused too.
I was just wondering why you took the other creams, but now I understand.
I do not do anything to my face, except occassionally I'll use clearisel cream to reduce certain pimples that come up from time to time, but I really don't use that stuff on a regular basis. I don't really do anything and my acne isn't that bad, but I have many scars around my face from years of acne. So I'm really concerned if ACV was the pure form of treatment, but if I understand correctly, I guess using other creams with it probably helps more.
Reply:If you guys are serious and dont mind spending a little money, then mederma scar treatment is awesome on those, but also even well working is made by neosporin, they make a neosporin cream that i put on, but i just started using proactiv and my skin has already cleared up from starting it 3 days ago and i havent had any new skin problems and my skin looks clearer and smoother. i just have a few red and brown spots left, they are just like scraping yourself, the best way to prevent them is to NOT pick at your blemishes and I know it's hard to ignore em but you wont get scars.
Let me know if it has helped anyone

Reply:Naa, the smell evaporates quickly, but you may want your skin to get used to it so dillute it with water, 1:6, then gradually go 1:3, then 2:3, and then you should be able to put on ACV alone.
nope. i put on the ACV at night and the smell is still there when i wake up in the morning. maybe you just got used to the smell and you thought it evaporates quickly. i put on 1 part ACV and 2 parts water (1:2). eventhough your skin can handle ACV alone, i still dont think you need that much of an ACV. that would be too strong.
Reply:lol! yeah it do really smell! and it's strong! that's why you need to use this only at night or else you wont have anybody beside you. lol!

Reply:guy, i think you didn't understand my question. what i mean is what's in the ACV that fades brown spots faster than any other topical that you have used? i mean does the ACV have a bleaching/exfoliating effect that's why it fades it faster? thanks.
Reply:if ACV is the real reason for cleaning the brown spots, then why do you use other creams and solutions with it?
nope. his main ingredient for the brown spots is the ACV with water, other than that is just a simple moisturizer and cleanser. the aztec indian healing clay is a mask (like in any other salon) that you mix it with once again, ACV.
Reply:The ACV is what is making it fade:The Apple Cider Vinegar. I said it my earlier post that I use the ACV as a toner mixed with water. In my toner container I fill it 75% of the ways up with ACV and then fill the rest with water. After I cleanse my face I take a cotton ball and swipe the ACV solution on my face. Here is my weekly regimen…
Morning
Cleanse with Desert Essence Cleanser with Tea Tree and Awapulwi
After Cleansing I put the ACV on my face and let dry. DO NOT RINSE OFF.
AFter it dries I put a little layer of Aloe Vera Gel on my skin
Depending on how I feeling I put Kiss my Face Aloe and Alpha oil free moisturizer on my skin. 9 times out of 10 I do this after the aloe dries. ** I love this moisturizer, it makes your skin very soft and does not give you oily skin**
Evening: I repeat the same procedure as the morning. 3-4 times a week at night I use the Aztec Indian Clay mask. If you still have your original ACV bottle, I use the cap and get about 2 capfuls of the powdered clay, and then use 2 capfuls of the ACV and you will have enough to make yourself a mask. You should also have a little left over if you want to spot treat. Leave on for about 15-20 minutes or as long as your face can stand it. It gets EXTREMELY tight and you will feel your skin pulsate. After I rinse off the mask, I swipe my face with the ACV and let dry. YOu probably don't have to, but I do and then follow with the ALoe and moisturizer.
I hope that I have answered the questions that everyone has…

Reply:ACV really works. But like all other things, it needs time to fully fade the spots. If I wasn't such a lazyass and give up, I'd have them 100% gone by now.

Reply:so ACV… ok but what's in it that made your spots fade faster than anything else?
that's what I'm wondering too. What is the one thing that is helping it fade away? I noticed you use indian clay of some sort, what about just acv with water?
I've had brown scars for a long time, and I'd like to find ways to reduce them.
Reply:I've used glycolic gels, fade peels, and fade cream with that 2% hydro stuff. But honest to god, then thing that has given me immediate visible results has been plain old 100%Apple Cider Vinegar.
I use it mixed with water and spread it on my skin after I wash my face in the morning and evening. I also use it with a clay mask called Aztec Indian Clay.
Another option for you would be exfoliating either every evening, if your skin can handle it, or about 3-4 times a week.
Use this regimen faithfully and I assure you that you will get results.

Reply:They will fade 100% or almost. It's just a matter of time. If you don't use anything and if they are real bad, it can take 6 months or more to fade. My old brown spots have faded 100%. I have some new ones which are fading. I've never had any brown spot that didn't fade 100% (knock on wood).
There are many things you can use – chemical peels, microdermabrasion, AHAs, masques ……
Based on my experience, what I can say is even if you use these products it may still take 2-4 months.

I use Fresh Frozen Aloe Vera Gel to lighten my brown spots – I put a layer on at night, let it dry – go to sleep and wash it off in the morning when I take my shower. I do this for a few weeks and the brown spots just disappear. There must be a natural acid in the fresh aloe – because it smooths out the skin and makes it look gorgeous while lightening the spots. You should really try it
How old were your spots? I am 19, and 7 months ago I caught scabies. The scarring left dark spots all over my body. Do you think what worked for you might work for me?
