blackheads along lip? [blackheads] [immune system]

I have a lot of blackheads around the edge of my lip, Im afraid to pop b / c every time I get around that area . I get a cold sore!

do you think this happens b / CI to get the area infected and my immune system sucks?

It is so tempting to pop them, but a cold sore is 100000x worse.

Reply:Try finding a FLAT needle, if it is round it will leave a scar, and gently prob the blackhead out, that way you are not applying more oil from your hands. Oh, and be sure to clean the needle efficiently first!

Reply:yeah sorry, it was really late when i posted that so i couldn't think of a better word than pop, i suppose i really meant unplug, squeeze, etc.

Reply:I have some of these also, but I don`t get the cold sores you are talking about. You can`t really pop blackheads, but you can squeeze them so the plug (or whatever it is called), comes out, and then the hole will close over.

Have you ever tried those patches that stick to your skin and are supposed to remove blackheads? I have tried them and they remove some, but I want to try a different product to see if I can get rid of them all!
