Breakout when they are sick . [upper respiratory infection] [breakouts]

I a while, as my acne was almost under control. However, just over a week ago, I came down with an upper respiratory infection / bronchitis and a slightly high temperature. Around this time I also began to break bad around the mouth and forehead. It seems that this happened a few times when someone sick.

Does bad breakouts like this when they get sick?

Is there anything you can do to fight it?

How have the breakout usually last long for you (Im still sick, and continue to break)?

Reply:Yes, but only started it 2 days ago and the breakout started over a week ago.

Reply:That's a bummer angel. I definately understand where you're coming from. I just woke up this morning to a ton of new whiteheads around my mouth, which sucks. I think the infection is starting to go away, so hopefully so will this in the next few days.

i had an upper respiratory infection/bronchitis about 3 weeks ago and my face looked awful it was dry and red and pimply… i was throwing up for 2 weeks straight, sore throat, i had a bloody nose, omg i never felt so sick, i also have fibromyalgia, depression ,anxiety and i have hydronephrosis(kidney swelling) ….so im pretty much sick all the time so my face looks bad and then an hour later looks great, i change my mind every minute on how my face looks well anyways your face will eventually clear just remember dont pick ur face and try to relax, i hope you feel better soon !

Reply:it makes sense to break out when you are sick if it is a nutritional issue, or a stress related issue. I've heard a lot of people say this or even that their acne started after sickness. Stress is both physical and psychological. Psychological induced stress is just like being sick.
