Hey guys, Im new to the boards and have recently put on birth control pills with the body of acne in mind and wondered if this worked for anyone out there. In recent years, especially when I have been unable to be out in the sun or the pool, Ive gotten really bad acne on my shoulders and back. I tried Proactiv cleanser and body lotion, but it has not helped, so I talked to my doctor and with the fact that my period does not tend to be very regular, she decided the pill might be worth trying. Does anyone out there had success with this? (The specific pill called Solia, it is a generic form of ortho-CEPT).

Reply:I haven't tried that for acne but have heard a lot of success stories. Do a board search and you can see what others say.
