Since acne isnt caused by dirt and is mainly caused by whats inside of us, do you think it matters if we are not wash or during accutane? Like twice a day to shower and use of water and perhaps a mild detergent to wash 2 times a week or so?
I started doing this the other day because I thought to myself, why interfere with this medicine? And none of the over the counter washes ever helped in the past that much, so whats the difference? Who will do this while on Accutane?
Reply:yea i feel u on that one. Do u think when ur donewith accutane u will continue to not wash and just use water?
Reply:When I'm on Accutane, I don't bother using soap. Just use water. Your skin will be less dry that way. Plus, your acne will be gone anyway, so you don't have to wash to gain the benefits of washing.
Reply:Im wondering the same thing. I'm on my 5th day of accutane and was wondering if just rinsing my face with water would be better, later on in my treatment im sure the accutane will dry my face out and a cleanser would probably dry it out more.
