Go to start Yasmin! [yasmin] [breakout]

My Ob is going to start me on Yasmin and I was wondering what I should expect the first few weeks. I heard it was a pretty bad initial outbreak cause, but after that it usually clears it . Is this true? How bad is the first outbreak? Thanks! Just Want to Be prepaired.

Reply:My initial breakout was pretty bad but not worse than my acne has ever been. I'm not sure if the breakout was just from the Yasmin though because I had started Differin and an antibiotic at the same time but after about 2 months it really started clearing up. My face is pretty clear now, but I still occassionally get a painful pimple on the bottom of my jawline which I've heard is normal. I am going on my 10th week so I think things will continue to improve since it hasn't even been 3 months and that's usually how long they say to wait.
