Has anyone ever had a glycolic acid peel? [acne prone skin] [glycolic peel]

Can you tell me how heavy it is? Also, your face breakout?

I a sensitive, acne-prone skin has cleared up, but I still have junk under the surface of my skin that I try to get rid of, so I made an appointment for this difference, but Im worried about how my skin react.

Anyone can know?

Reply:Hey guy

Where are you having these done? At a salon or with a doc?? What skin tone do you have? I was considering this at a salon ($150 for 6 treatment), but I am nervous. I have sensitive skin and a darker skin tone so I am afraid of hyperpigmentation… I mean, I would be doing it to get rid of dark spots, not get more!!!

Reply:Thanks guys…I am actually going today to have a facial and then a peel. I am going to go ahead and do the 6 week course of them.

Fortunately, I am off of work for the next two days, so if my face is red, it'll be ok.

Reply:I found these peels made me break out bad at first as well…But after a couple ur complexion looks more even…Worth it but pricey and u do experience redness afterwards….

Reply:I have been using the peel for 3 months now, it does not cause any breakouts, but it will make your skin red for a couple days. I have 40% and leave it on for 5 minutes.

Reply:Thanks! Did you get them initially for breakouts? How badly did you break out at first, if at all?

Reply:gonna do my fourth one tonight. I love them. I am using 30% right now and am up to 10 minutes. had no problems and have been zit free for 3 weeks now.could cause a bit of peeling or break out at first. im just a little pink and glowy for a few hours afterward.
