Has anyone tried bio-oil [uneven skin tones] [bio oil]

anyone? only available in the UK, Australia and New Zealand I think. I think its meant to uneven skin tone and redness, scars to help . etc:)

Reply:lo jezza, ehehe no im not a girl :) , i've only used that deep clean on one part of skin one me face and it felt like kinda burny i dunno i think i have sensitive skin. i dont think its called deep clan acne wash tho on the tube it says "Deep clean cream wash". The problem with me is i'm to scared most of the times to try new products just incase i get more acne :/

Reply:hi redmark i now use garnier synergie gentle deep cleansing foaming wash which i really like. are you a chick? if so i recommend the pill, if youre a guy probably avoid the pill :p my skin now is just old red marks and a couple of pesky zits, im not too sure what i used to use when i was in high skool (am an oldie at 22 now), it's all a blur of hideous memories hahahaha…arggggg those were so Not the days! so the neutro cleanser is feeling a bit harsh? i like their stuff it makes your skin tingle! i was thinking of trying the deep clean acne wash (the one with big boobs hewett on the ad), have u tried that?

Reply:yo again, im gonna try this neutrogena multi vit for a month or something, but i need something to get rid of my current acne as well, but most of my skin is like jsut red marks with a few spots. Maybe my spots will go away on there own i dunno. I also go this other neutrogena product called deep clean i think, tried it last night seems a bit too strong for me i don't know, what do you use to cleanse your skin? thanks.

Reply:Redmark at the moment im using clinique's anti-blemish solutions night treatment gel which seems to be working pretty well. I also used to use Neutrogena Pore Refining cream which also seemed not bad for the marks!

Reply:I bought this Neutrogena Clear Pore Multi Vitamin Moisturiser today, surposed to help with uneven skin tones according to the box, haven't tried it yet though.

Reply:yea their website makes it look so good! i've still got moderate acne in with the areas i have red marks so doubt that putting oil there would help, from what you said it sounds kinda greasy :P what else have you tried for red marks?

Reply:Redmark hi I had high hopes for bio-oil too when I read up on their stuff on the website but unfortunately it wasnt what I hoped. Lucky i didnt buy it though- just got the free sample from their website. You see how they claim it's "so not oily" and stuff??? Well ewwwww I found it gross- it really IS oil- like yeah i guess the name says it all but somehow i thought it would be just a lotion. I slapped it on my face one night and then just couldnt bear going to bed like that (think of greasing up your pillow!) so I had to cleanse my face again! If you dont mind the oil factor I guess it could be okay but think of this: it's like smearing your face with the bottle of crisco from your kitchen cupboard- Feral. Pity though- I suffer from red marks too and was excited about bio-oil!
