Hey guys, I face particualry
I a bad day. It really did sneak up on me. The right side of my nose began to be painful (for people with cystic acne you know the sore painful sensation when to come, and you know you can not do anything about it) and I thought that was weird, it was at the very end of my nose bridge and around the opening, it hurt so bad I could not even touch this morning and the right side of my nose is so swollen and disfigured! I have some lows, but this is def the worst! Has anyone ever had a cyst in the side of the nose? Its really painful. Any way sorry for the rant, but it makes you sad when the pain is so bad you can not even touch your face!
Reply:The peoblem with mine is that there us no real head nor can I see where there is going to be one like you usually can, I can just feel the infection,that is wondering if the cyst is forming inside my nose. I feel you pain, I am no newbie to cyst! I have one that has been under my eye for about a month, still hasn't came to a head or gone away, just the same ol same ol. Thanks for the support
Hey over the past two week's ive had a similar problem and instead of my normal routine of squeezing the hell out of the bitches and messing with them constantly i have done the following.
Applied a warm compress for around 20 mins followed by a dab of hydrocortisone cream and then i have applied a clay mask just to the spot( inflamed area) and gone to bed with it on and it does seem to reduce the size within a few days.

Reply:hey,hey,hey im rite now having the same problem at the same places where you have indicated,on the side and one on the tip….heres the story,
i never knew this b4 i had and yup they are difficult ones and take a long time to go,i went to my gp first but he (i think) didnt get the case exactly and recommended me simple doxycycline and topical antibiotic eythromycin,nothing worked and after around 2 months went to another gp and yup he using a pin had it burst,but was tht enough for this staunch cyst ,nopes it didnt go completely and the doc had to repeat it ok,it was almost ok but it was badly pigmented and then the doc peeled it off,even after so much hardship,i have a scar on my side,i decided to go to the derm and he said tht it was wrong to peel off and had it burst by the pin(but it was so damn ugly,i had no other choice) and he instead said tht i must have got it by plastic surgery ''$$$" ?
well,cut short he prescribed me hydroquinone 2% and now its fading gradually.
i recently got another cyst on the tip of my nose(thats another long story)

Reply:I hear you. I dont even feel self concious at all about my active acne infections anymore..I could care less about the few small zits Ive had recently. Its the huge red marks left behind on the middle of my nose from two horrible cysts that im so embarassed of.
Does anyone have this same problem? Does anyone know what I can do to lessen the marks? I dont think they are techincally scars..
Reply:I feel bad for you they hurt bad I had three on my chin a few weeks ago and I now have dark spots left because I started to scratch at them but then the dermotologist gave me a cortison shot in each one and they went down the next day so I should not have touched them and I would not have these marks now maybe you should get the cortisone shot and dont touch. Reply:I've never gotten huge cyst-like pimples around my nose region (or inside for that matter), but I feel your pain. I get some major cysts every now and then (maybe not "cysts" technically, but the huge red ones that never come to a head and take forever to go away), and last week I got one right by my lip so it looks like some type of huge disfigured cold sore or something
. You can barely see it now, but I didn't go to my class one day because it was so embarrasing.
21st birthday coming up soon, hopefully my hormones will balance by then :rolleyes: .

Lol, I know EXACTLY what you are talking about.
They do hurt, like a b***h, don't they? They suck when you get them on the very tip of your nose too. Makes you look kinda like Rudolf. I've been through the same crap. Even though I shouldn't have, I squezzed the one on my nose (I almost cried it hurt so much. 
) and luckily it didn't scar.
