Hello, about two weeks ago my doctor gave me a cream to clear up my acne (clindamycin-benzoyl peroxide gel). The stuff works fine, but Ive run into a little problem. The top layer of my skin kinda flakes off (not too surprising, given the stuff dries out the skin). It does not hurt at all, Ide like to disappear. I put the cream on before I go to bed. When I wake up, I take a shower and put some lotion on my face but that does not mean much. Any suggestions? Thanks a bunch!
Reply:You should put on lotion over the acne cream. There?s no problem with that, just make sure you put on the cream first, followed by the lotion, not the other way around. Then once your face isn?t dry any more you can go to just putting it on in the morning after your shower.
