How long before you see results with Diane-35 or Orthotricyclin? [diane 35] [alesse]

Hello everyone,

I was just wondering how long it takes for Diane-35 or Orthotryclin start working?
I Alesse recently tried, and in two weeks, my acne increased so that much.
So, I Alesse.
I m considering trying Diane-35 or Orthotricyclin.
I think I tried Diane-35 a few years ago, and the made me nauseous.
I might try and stick with it this time around.
How long did it take for Diane-35 or Orthotricyclin to take its full effect?
Was is the first breakout and how long the first breakout last?
I like to hear your comments.

Reply:I said Ortho Tri-Cyclen is the only one proven to help skin!! It is…Diane isn't available in the United States, so I guess that would make it the only one here in the U.S. proven to help skin. Thanks!

Reply:I dont know who said it, but ortho isnt the ONLY one proven to work for acne. ..Diane 35 is an acne treatment..it says right on the package
anyways, Ive been on it 5 months and havent seen any improvement..but i have really persistent acne and am now on accutane for it..oh and i was nauseaus for the entire first month..
I know a few girls who its worked very well for. Ive never heard of an initial breakout from a BC pill
the derm told me you should see about 30% improvemtn after 3 months, 60% after 6, etc…

They were very helpful.
I think I will try Diane soon.
My acne is moderate – maybe a little worse than moderate.
Accutane worked wonders – too bad it the effects didn't last very long.
I'm just scared of the initial breakout – how can I be sure that the breakout is just an initial one, and isn't long lasting?

Reply:i was lucky and saw results with diane immediately. ortho didn't do ANYTHING for me.

Reply:I was on Ortho, and it gave me a HORRIBLE initial breakout that lasted three months straight! Then i began to clear a bit, go back to horrible, and back again. It wasn't consistent at all. I was on it for one year.

Now i've started Diane and i think it is much better for me. no nausiea.

Reply:I just started my 5th pack of Ortho Tri-Cyclen and my skin is really improving. I had really bad breakouts the first 3 months or so though. You have to give it at least 4-5 months to see results. They haven't made me nauseous at all. Ortho Tri-Cyclen is the only one "clinically proven to improve acne." You just have to give it time.
