I always crave, but cannot eat [chocolate candy] [candy ice cream]

I always crave food like pizza, chocolate, candy, ice cream . but I dont eat for I will break out of. I hate it because when Im with friends who always get pizza or something, and I always reject the offer. The wonder why I never eat. It makes me so sad and angry. It is difficult to stop, but I know in the long term, eating a slice of pizza or bowl of ice cream is not worth the risk of getting pimples short after.

Anyone else like this? I just miss my Youngers years when I could eat everything I craved. Putting mayonnaise or dressing on a bun was no problem with French fries, a cheeseburger was so good, or pepper in food. But now, I have no choice, and Ive changed my eating style to the more plain and basic diet. No dressings, oils, fats, sugars, salts, peppers.

Reply:We'll I think its true with some people. Some dermos are just a crock of crap. They have perfect skin, so they dont give a rats ass. How would you feel if youre dermo said this when you walked into your appt?

"OH MY GOD, holy ****. What happened to you…I hope you dont have a girlfriend"


Reply:I still think it's a myth that the food you eat affects your acne. Yes, we've always heard it's true, but even the pamphlets I have from the dermatologists say it isn't.
But only you know if there's an association for you between acne and food… but I suggest trying it one more time. It'll be a whole lot better when you can eat what you want again!

Reply:I dont get it. How is milk high in iodine if its suppose to be so good for you?

Reply:Dood, seriously, those foods really have nothing to do with your acne, just make sure you get propper nutrition through vitamins or whatever and go ahead and those foods. The only things you might want to worry about is foods high in iodine, such as gatorade (and other sports drinks) and milk and stuff.

The clearest skin of my life has been up until I started this retin-a and i'm on a diet of junk food only cause I'm pretty lazy. Last summer I practiced one of those super-healthy diets, I ate smoothies and avoided oily food and ****. My acne was soooooooooooooo much worse back then. It just goes to show that it really has nothing to do with your eating, but some people swear it does so I dunno.
