Hi! Ive been getting this deep red bumps on my neck for about 2 years. They are painful and not just for a few days. They probably average one week to leave. They also leave red scars. I have a few hairs on my neck. I just want it all of a razor blade and every few days (I shave with the grain to try).
I had an adult her a few weeks ago. The cysts and ingrown hairs, like me. Is it possible I get all the bumps are ingrown hairs and not cysts? I think the only way I can find to stop shaving the hair, such as using an electric or just not shaving all.
I no history of cysts and bumps do not show up until a few years ago. I did not shave back of my neck too long.

Reply:I would definitely go to a dermatologist and ask them about it.
Reply:I had the same problem. I think the hair is aggitating the possible pimple turning it into a cyst, possibly, because thats what I went through. I felt as though the hair from my beard or what not was causing me to have cysts. I started taking accutane and they started to disappear mid way through my 2nd month. Go talk to your derm. about it and see what they say.
Reply:Lol, sorry another edit. I usually get 2 or 3 at a time. The most is 5 at one time. I usually get at least 1.
