I have moderate acne at the moment, and I had cysts on my cheeks for a few years now, that look like they will leave scars. My skin is really bad, I use loreal impurity gel wash (3step that thing), but I was wondering if this is better? My skin is really white right now, and I naturally have more of a glow to it than I have right now: (so I have to look hard to find in mirrors etc, as my skin is so much different than anyone else and how to use mines.
Does this package seems worth it? I do not understand all too well, but it seems quite good.

Thanks much as you can help.
Reply:I, myself, come from a lineage of folks who fight acne (cystic, in particular) to the grave (my mother is turning 80 and still suffers with it)…
I'd given up on the gamut, as one can only ingest so much tetracycline or minocin without looking for a new liver… (PS ~! Respect the freshness dates, because tetracycline and minocin denegrate into extremely toxic stuff that can wipe-out your kidneys – and then where will you be ???)…
Last July, out of frustration, I paid a dermatologist to laser-scalpel the end of my nose to get at a painfull cyst… Nasty, pain and large icky area for months…
THEN, while at the nearest Costco store ~ I noticed in the OTC area a tube of Benzoyl Peroxide Gel for UNDER $2.00 …. I laughed and scoffed at the thought… Here I am, nearly two score past teenagerdom ~ and I'm looking at the olde standard…
What the heck, thought I, it's less than a minimum blackjack wager AND the nasty cyst area was again re-invigorating…
I bought it…
It worked like a charm, neutralizing EVERY bit of red irritation everywhere I applied it…
Hallelujah !!!
Cheap, too !!!
Couldn't resist passing that along !!!
Reply:Hi. I looked at the auction. I am intrigued! I have gone to ***********.com and looked at glycolic acid products by MDForte brand. THey have a whole line with washes, toners, spot treatments, gels….but they are very expensive so I've not purchased anything. I have tried drugstore brands with glycolic acid in them and have seen a tiny bit of a difference but not enough to please me. Neutrogena's glycolic products don't say what strength (10% etc) their toners and creams contain so it's probably very low. I bought some 10% cream in Canada and I can feel it working but it's also a very greasy formulation so I think any good the glycolic acid does is undone by the greasyness of it. SO…I think you should email the seller and ask what the glycolic acid they sell is – clear liquid? Gel? Powder? Oil based? The bottles look empty is why I mention this. Also I would ask what the glycolic acid is derived from – you don't want to be getting pineapple juice concentrate or something they call 10% GA! Anyhow, I'd ask a ton of questions especially if they don't have a money back offer. Then if it all checks out – I'd go for it! In fact I'm thinking about looking into it, too, even with the shipping cost to the US! GOod luck and I'd be curious to know what you find out. [ removed ] : ) SUe
