I have maybe five of these big boys got under the skin. cysts are they? my face feels as bad as I am to wash, but when I look in the mirror I am shocked that I can not even see them until I close. They are however great, and gross. what the hell are they? will they ever go away?
Reply:Try hot compresses for about l5 min. several times a day and see if that helps bring them to a head. An antibiotic would probably bring them right down in a few days. Ones that stick around that long need something to fight the infection.
Reply:how long does it usually take for these to go away? it's been at least 2 weeks and there is no change at all so far.
Reply:Yes, it sounds like you are describing cysts. You should see a doctor and get on an antibiotic. Benzoyl peroxide is a good topical treatment, and hydrocortisone cream and Advil will help with the swelling.
