I have 8 laser hair removal treatments on my face and see that after treatment, I have a bad outbreak of whiteheads have about 1-2 weeks later. I know it is related to the laser treatments, but Im so close to 100% I do not want my hair removal laser treatments to stop. Im having a hard time releasing this white heads up. I will be around 10 to 20 whiteheads along my jawline and on my neck and some of the Whitehead cystic become painful.
Presently, Im on minocycline 100 mg twice daily, and duac cream (which I think is a waste of money if nothing), but the breakouts continue. Ive twice daily cleaning with a cleansing gel and use Clinique Clinique makeup products. When I clear the first 15-20 whiteheads, 10 more replaced. This is a problem 2 years – no acne as a teenager. I have a 90 lbs weight loss with diet and exercise, but other than that, life is status quo for me. I am currently 38 years old and female.
Has anyone else had laser treatments for acne and this problem? If so, what have you used successfully? Thanks for any info you can offer!
Reply:Also, my diet consists of low fat, 1500 calorie, balanced food groups and high fiber.

Hello my dear, I am 20 years old female. The first I was intoduced to laser was 2 years ago and I am very disappointed from the results!! after 6 laser sessions on my cheeks I started to develop whiteheads and very tiny pimples all over my face and when I pop them out it’s like a tiny white string coming out(It’s horrible). It’s really annoying and am still young and wish to feel beautiful and confident with my skin!!!!!! my skin was much much better before having those laser sessions and I’d like to note that as a teenage girl I didn’t had pimples.
Treatments I have been using for this condition:
1. Deffrin night cream
2. toner and cleanser
3. Antibiotics pills
4. Face wash
and it wasnt useful!! I am very unhappy with my skin and dont know what to do or which doctor should i see!
