Has anyone tried either or a combination?

Do you think its rude when I go to my GPs office and ask her for this medication? I feel funny asking my doctor I mean, its her job to tell me what is appropriate for my skin . right? What do you think? ~ * ~ *

My sister went to see her derm about 5 weeks ago and she was put on this combo of Mino and Differin. She had mild-moderate acne and these 2 meds together has been quite good for her as she has improved significantly!

Reply:Yeah I think it's always okay for you to bring up other possible treatments…thats what I did when I went to derm….at first he was going to put me on erthomycin…i read on it and it seemed kinda weak…so i suggest doxy and tazorac and he was all for it….As far as your Differn ?, I had a friend that was dark skin on it and her complexion is still the same…Don't worry you won't turn into Micheal Jackson..i would rather have acne than look like him right now..

Reply:There's no reason why you can't suggest what you want…she might over-rule you, but that's ok. I always do research on the internet on any illness I may have and I bring my suggestions with me. It's YOUR health…you have rights.

As for the Differin…that's what I am on right now and I love it. I am probably a day away from being completely clear.
