And they take me off unless Im almost clear when I see her sometimes. She says if it does not work within six weeks, it will never work. But the site says at least 7-12 weeks and most of you say full results in six months!
My mother can not trust that I have knowledge about these things and they will not let me say something to the derm about it. What do you think I should do?
Also will do exfoliate with St. Ives Gentle Scrub (not the medical one) once or twice a week to help at all? What about setting up and wash before Retin-A Micro?
Thanks for any help.
Reply:You need to get information in print. Tell your derm you want to try two months. I don't think she'he is correct about the 6 weeks, although it should purge all within this time. But retin-a will keep your face clear while using it too, so using the lowest dosage should keep you clear, for at least 2-4 months…dunno why she won't let you stay on it..
However i say ask for clindamycin (cleocin-t is expensive stuff, but same thing). Clindamycin is a gel you put on your face too, i have had nothing but good from this….remember that name and ask for that if she won't let you stay on retin-a…clinda works great…
Reply:Best way to go is to bring in a full and well designed article from an academic search engine that illustrates what you want to say.
