My first professional Microderm yesterday [acne scars] [hve]

I have agreed to a series of six medical microderms done to tighten my pores, even my skin tone, and hopefully improving small acne scars. The nurse uses medical grade Dermagenesis machine. First, a few years ago, I had 3 Salon microderms done which worked wonders for my skin. I couldnt keep them here, but a few years later decided to complete a series of 6 to get. So I had my first yesterday, and HVE to say, it was a rough LOT more than those living deeper because it was a medical grade machine. But I must tell you that the strangest things. I had this little acne scar on the tip of my nose (slightly larger than a pore). She really worked on my nose, and I can not believe it, but that small scar is almost gone! I can not wait to see all 6 and the results. Will let you know. By the way, Im paying $ 500 for 6, which is great in MA. VAT, I have at home microderms no significant results (Dermanew, Epidermx, etc.)
Reply:Hmm I have had the exact opposite experience. I had a series of 6 microdermabrasion treatments (done at plastic surgeon's office) and 6 of the highest grade 70% AHA peels done with NO results. In fact, I almost wanted to write a complaint but figured it probably wouldn't get me anywhere.
The epidermx and religious use of camellia oil is the only two things that have taken away my pitting scars!
I am glad you are having such a good experience though, $500 is a GREAT PRICE! I paid over $800
