Ive taken Bactrim for 1 day (two pills) and by night, I red, itchy rash all over my body had. Does this mean I am allergic to it and should I stop?
Reply:Same thing happened to me whem I took Bactrim. Horrible rash all over my body. It means that you are allergic or sensitive to sulfa drugs. When you go to the doctor and they ask if you are allergic to any medications be sure to always tell them that you are sensitive to Sulfa medications.

I had some pretty bactries in my urine.I went under many antibiotic medication. 6 of them i guess. last one is Bactrim D.S it worked unlike the other ones.first 3 days there was no side effect. i couldnt take it for 2 days. when i started from 3th day, whole my body started itching. but after 2 days and taking a long bath. it was gone. it is gone. i can pee without pain. hehe. and maybe haha also
