I like Retin-A Micro to say once or twice a week instead of every night it will still work? If it will work, will I still see results as fast as at night bring? Or will it twice or three times as long to see an improvement? Thanks in advance.
Reply:it says even on the site that your skin may look worse before it gets better. it actually said that getting new pimples a few weeks in is a sure sign that it is working. you see results after 6 weeks-ish but it keeps getting better of the course of months. stick with it! i know it may seem horrid at first b ut if you dont go through the bad.. you wont get to the good!
Reply:hi, nice to bring up this topic again coz the last time i asked nobody replied.
BTW, what color is your retinA? Mine one is yellow. I just wanna make sure i use the correct one.
so guy, you were saying we have to use it constantly? i stopped a few days ago coz i get new pimple every morning using this cream (you were saying it pushes zits onto the surface?) and my skin looks reddish and irritating. however if like what you said, maybe i should use it back tonight. anyway, how long can you see the result?
Reply:You must def. use retin-a- micro every night! I am on it. I use to be on it for a few years and my face was very clear but dry. This summer i made the horrid mistake of going off it since I thought i "grew out" of my acne. HA. WRONG. Not only did i break out horribly with about 30 pimples at a time, but I also had to go through the initial outbreak period. If you use it only once in awhile.. the retin a will push everything horrible to the surface of your skin. the reason why the inital breakout stops is because after awhile, there is nothing new being pushed to the surface and you just deal with the first few layers of skin. if you use it every once in a while then you will constantly be forcing stuff up, and probably will experience an extended outbreak period.
Reply:No you need to use it how the doctor or derm. prescribed you to. I have heard most people use it every other night at first cause it irritates their skin. Just don't use too much cause I have heard your skin peels alot at first. My skin is too sensitive so I use Differin instead.
