Ok to Neutrogena acne body wash and use benzoyl peroxide? [benzoyl peroxide] [acne body wash]

I use the wash for the shower and wanted to know if I could then use the benzoyl peroxide on my back acne? Will this cause a severe irritation or problems?

Reply:I haven't used the neutrogena body wash, but I do use bp with face washes that contain things like sa or aha. I think that as long as you are rinsing the wash off well that it shouldn't be a problem. The problem I've run into is using products that you leave on your skin together – like glycolic gel and bp. I also think it's a good idea to use a moisturizer even if your skin is oily because bp is very drying.
