These two men were close to me and they spoke half English, half something else. They were obviously talking about me. So along the course of the conversation said one of them Im glad it went away before it [acne] went out before him like scars. Im really horrible feeling now. As I havent felt this bad so long ago. Before I was angry because I thought I would never get permission to accutane and now Im on it I have to worry about getting this waste.
Anyway what I wanted to know is there anything I can do for acne scars while on Accutane? What about after? Accutane is helping to reduce scarring at all?

First of all, I want to tell you that I know exactly how you feel. I have been the victim of this type of cruel chatter countless times. What I ususally do is look the chatterer directly in the eye to let them know that I realize I am being talked about it. This hopefully shames them and they will stop.
As far as the scarring goes, while you are still on accutane you might try rubbing vitamin E oil on the scars and also try a product called Mederma. I used it after I was involved in a car accident and had stitches all over my face. I would say that it helped to reduce the scarring by about 50 percent. After you get off accutane you might want to try microdermabrasion, or collegen injections. I wish you the very best in you fight against this disease…

Reply:Hey guy.. i just wanted to say that Im sorry about your experience with those jerks saying that about you. Suffering from acne has made me such a humble person, let me tell you. Just know that you are a beautiful person inside and out. Try not to care what superficial people like that say about you. I know its easier said than done but they will get theirs in the end for being so heartless.
Anyways, back to your question. Ive been using jojoba oil mixed with vitamin e which has really improved my overall tone. I think it tones down the redness plus moisturizes wonderfully

Reply:What can I say dude, I've had acne for 7 years… its only fading away now but it looks like I'll be left with lots of brown/red marks, although I dont think scars will be much of a problem since I never really picked at my face. I only have hockey injuries on my face and those dont bother me at all.
Im clearing up and im happy about it… im tired of being down on myself with my acne, Im opening my eyes to life again. Don't know how to say muc hmore than that… probably your acne is worse than mine but I think we all have to get over it in our minds one way or the other and stop justifying not going outdoors by saying "I wont be able to take everyone looking at me etc"
Its all in the mind… thats what I have found.

Can't help you with your question i am affraid, but i'm so down about my acne right now i am really thinking hard about going on to accutane, how is it for you?
