Question about cleaning your face [st ives] [facewash]

Just some input as to how often should I clean my face. Ive used St. Ives apricroit (SP) scrub for a long time now, but every time I wash my face gets red when I realllly irritated or something. I would like to know if I switch to a different kind of face wash or maybe I should wash my face less often. I had every night for about one minute. All input is very helpful. :)

Reply:I think you should definately switch to a milder face wash….there are many to choose from. Cetaphil is a good one….very mild. Maybe just use the scrub once or twice a week if you like. Also, most people and my derm say to only wash twice a day.

Reply:After several years of experimentation I have always come back to 'johnsons baby top to toe wash' morning and night. Its soo gentle you can squirt it in your eyes and they won't hurt. Keeps me clear, very cheap (compared to face wash) and doesn't dry.
