I have many red marks left over from acne. And from time to time I still get pimples. But there is red spots and rinse note places where pustules have formed in years. I do not know if the links on Rosacea or just blemishes. But it affects my face pretty bad. Any ways to get rid of this?
Reply:Rick, it would be a good idea to see a dermatologist and get proper diagnosis. There are other things that could be the problem. I was in my 30's when Rosacea started and it has continued for many, many years. My face will sting/itch at times as well as have a flat mealy rash on parts of it, especially the forehead and cheeks. Occassionaly there will be a hard red cyst that never comes to a head and is very painful. Over the years bloodvessels in face have become very noticeable especially if I am in a warm room. One thing for sure I do not dare use makeup, face reacts and I end up bright red. Hubby has finally quit asking me if I am o.k. when my face turns red for no reason.
You could just still have old fashion acne.
Reply:But the blemishes come from the pimples. That's why I don't think it's rosacea. And I've seen pictures of people with rosacea and it isn't quite what I have. It's just blemishes.
Reply:If it is rosacea, there is no cure. However, there are ways to help control. Do not drink alcohol. See a dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment.
