Shaving Bumps and Acne? ? [razor burn] [electric razor]

Sorry to post again an issue with a similar theme, but Im sorry for my mind end.
I shaving rash and acne on my neck area.
I have listened to what you have recommended in respect of shaving and Im going to invest In an electric shaver, when can I get a decent real soon.
In afford the average time it, do you have any suggestions to reduce razor burn, I use BP on the bumps, but stuck to the redness front, hydrocortisone helps a bit, but frankly I did not want to use on my neck for too long because of the side of this antibiotic creams effects.
Most my skin feeling greasy and white heads.
I breakthrough am just hoping that I make you boys in the U.S. can give me some tips because here in the UK Im no doubt that we are behind the treatment options for this problem on a bloody usual.

Reply:Paula's Choice makes a skin soothing lotion that is supposed to be good for shaving bumps. Just an idea, maybe what you have is different.

Reply:i use aveeno shaving gel with a mach3 excellent..its good stuff.

Reply:I had the same problem with the shaving bumps and tried Aveeno shave gel and the bumps are so much less now. Good stuff.

Reply:okay, I had the same problem… every time I shave I break out and I don't know if it is acne or shaving bumps.. I have acne anyway but I can't tell if it's that or the shaving… I got a benzoyl peroxide shave cream to test it… and I still got bumps.. so, I tried Aveeno shave gel recently and I Love it ! It has no fragrance, no color, ect. and it gave me the closest, smoothest shave I've ever had.. without any stinging, dryness or bumps… very good stuff… ALSO, I now try to shave easier and just barely press down and not to go over the same spot too much and that along with the aveeno shave gel has done wonders to save my skin after shaving… hope this helps !!!
