I have two small cysts almost joined to the corner of my lip that are quite painful. They were always sort of barely submerged in the skin there, but now Im on accutane for almost one month, theyve decided to slowly peek their “white” heads of subject and become a little more pain and a little more noticeable.
A few months ago I took a few whiteheads in similar locations on the other side of my mouth . It was painful, but I had to do it. – There was actually a little actually comes from the corner of my lip. I didnt think it could happen.
But . I unpack this? Accutane or will they magically disappear? What should I do in your humble opinion?
Reply:I would wait and see if it's a cold sore – you don't want to go poking a prodding around with one of those, you can spread it so you'd get more!
If it is a cyst, then I'd go in there and get the stuff out, just be careful.
Just an F.Y.I. – I noticed that some chapsticks, lip balms and lip glosses make the skin around my mouth break out so I need to be careful to not get them on my skin and that they're not too "gooey"

Reply:this sounds like a cold sore… iread a remedy on the net that said dab some vanilla extract on the cold sores and that will dry them up…try it and let me know if it works…if it doesnt seem like a cold sore to you try some cortizone cream dab it on with a q-tip…this cream is like a miracle. by morning it wont be sore and it will either be going away or coming to a head. plus cortizone reduces marks from pimples ALOT! but they have ot be freshly pooped..good luck
