Im sitting here on Sunday and watching the informercial . I tried it five years ago and it didnt work for me it has worked . for everyone here
and how long did it take to work for you as that?
the only product I use their lighting, the skin lotion (the only thing that worked)
Reply:It didn't do "ish" for me, then again nothing works for me, but some good 'ol Accutane! l.o.l.
Reply:Proactiv has worked really well for me i still get some break outs, but if i just leave them alone and don't touch them they go away pretty quickly, my only problem is the oilyness cuz it doesn't cure that at all. The oil isn't that bad, but if it wasn't there at all i'* be so much happier. Oh yeah and my biggest problem when i did have kind of bad acne was that i would pick at them and make them worse. Just don't touch your face at all except when washing and even then make sure your hands are clean and you should see a huge differance, i did. And also, change your pillow case often, cuz all that oil from your hair gets on it and on your face :nono:
Reply:I absolutely love it!!
is it gd for scars?

Reply:I've used ProActiv for about 6 months now, and it took a good 3-4 months before I saw any significant improvements. My skin even got a bit worse before it started getting better, but that's common with a lot of treatments. I've had mild/moderate persistant acne since I was in the third grade.
Reply:I got proactiv about a year and a half ago. My skin stabilized for…oh, maybe 2 weeks and then nothing. My skin was still not improved and to me, the products felt greasy, and the moisturizer was never enough, I still dried out.
Reply:didnt work and i was pissed…i got all excited and it didnt work for me…i needed accutane
Reply:I use Proactiv, but only at night. In the morning I use Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash and Neutrogena Multi-Vitamin Acne Treatment because they contain salicylic acid. I think that using one product at night and a different one in the morning is most effective for me. It's also cheaper because I use less Proactiv.
Reply:ProActiv worked great for me. It cleared up my skin within 2 weeks and kept it clear for about a year. After a year on it, it slowly stopping working and then it just didnt do anything anymore. I guess my body became immune to it. I have been off of it for about 3 months now… giving my body a break from it. I just bought another kit, and Im going to try it again, but I dunno if its going to work like it used to, if it even works at all. I really hope it does… I really loved the stuff! ProActiv is great and it does work, but some people become immune to it after a while. Its worth a shot is all I have to say! Good luck!
Reply:I hated ProActive, because it made my skin worse, and I actually got a cyst on my face that I had to get surgically removed because of ProActive. I am not saying that it wouldn't work for anyone else, but it sure didn't work for me!
Reply:I've been using ProActiv since Spring of this year and it's worked for me more than anything else. I don't have many active pimples, I get one every once in awhile but I have lots and lots of scars from before I started using ProActiv products. I've noticed though, that the scars from last year aren't as big, red, or noticeable. But I still have lots more that are. I stopped using ProActiv once to see if another product could totally clear me up but I ended up breaking out really really bad. So it was around Spring time when I got back on the system and it's going great.
Reply:I have mild acne so I thought it would work for me but I was wrong. I'm not totally against it, I think it could very well work for some but it irritated my skin too much. My skin was pretty clear and smooth but sooo red and hurt a lot. It looked like I was always sunburn. I tried cutting back on using the products to like once a day but that didn't work very well either and my skin was still too sensitive and irritated. Oh well..
