I am just over 5 weeks in spiro and my skin is breaking out worse than in ages ! I have pimples on my chest is all I nver get them and on the sides of my face and even some on my arms and ears ! I can not handle this and I feel really depressed.I him hidden away: rolleyes:: confused:
Has someone had an initial outbreak? Would this fit my hormones? Should I lower my dosage because it has flared up when I increased the dose to 200 mg? should I wait it out?

Reply:From today i have lowered my dosage to 150mg so let's see how that goes.Man,i really hope it gets better soon!!!!!!!! I've decided i'm going to hide away for a couple of weeks(what does acne reduce us too???? :confused: ),and then i'll see how it is.If it is an initial breakout it should be getting better into the third month surely.If not,i'll have to stop it then.Even my mum said "just look what's happened to your face!!!!!" this morning and she always says my skin sin't bad at all normally when i'm worrying about it!
Reply:I tried Spiro two years ago for 10 days only and I also broke out hideously! I started on 200mg, and took it along with Diane-35. After 10 days, I just couldn't cope anymore and quit. I'm really sorry to hear what you're going through. Maybe you should try to lower your dosage.
Reply:No,i'm not using any topicals.They've never seemed to really work before.I can't cope with this for much longer!!!!!!!!!!! :confused:
Reply:Are you using any topicals with it? Sometimes that is necessary. I didn't have an initial breakout but I was already on Differin and Klaron.
