t timy bumps on the nose please help me [duac] [differin]

I have 100s of tiny little bumps on my nose, on the front and on both sides. I started getting these about 6 months ago. An old derm that I have been telling me that it was really dry skin and I need to moisturize the area. A new derm told me they were comedones and that I should be (differin / duac) either way not really improve treatment and they drive me crazy and look gruesome close-up advice please
