Last night when I slept I thought to myself what I should do, if not with an acne problem. I realized everyone I know about to hear is about my age (20) and has ushally srewed and had children so young. I dont have anything against that but now that I look at life not so fun anymore. For five years Ive Delt with acne and ya know maybe deep down it was for the better. Acne, my personality changed a way.Maybe I in trouble? Maybe I would be nothing? Body Acne . Will accutane make me break out on my face? [acne problem] [body acne]

Hi all.

I have a nasty case of acne on the body of the moment and have tried many treamtents. I am currently four weeks of trimethoprim 600 mg daily treatment with antibiotics and Retin A 0.25. Not working yet (in fact things are much worse, Retin A breakout perhaps?) Is it a bit early to expect results?

Im is seriously considering Accutane, but since I have no real acne problem on my face (maybe two / three points a month there) Im afraid the drug gives me a big break fac

Well I am very scaly, dry, scaly, raw, sometimes painful skin, especially around the nose, eyebrow area, chin. My father is 56 years old and he still, so I would have it, I never lose, but I do!
Along the acne problem I had, it went well accept for a few spots here and there but not to destroy my self confidence as before to.
Anyway only for those with seborrheic dermatitis my cure was a cream called Protopic (tacrolimus ointment) I think it is a cream used for liver transplants, $ 70
