First you should get a good scrub cleanser to exfoliate your skin.

I recommend the Neutrogena Deep clean gentile scrub.
Leave it on your face for like a minute, then wash off.

Then use Dove essential nutrients Toner. It has Vitamin A, E, Green Tea, GrapeSeed and Zinc. Its a non alcohol toner and non comedogenic. Leave the toner on. Dont wash it off.

Then use Neutrogena multi vitamin acne treatment. Its a lotion with lots of vitamins and salicylic acid. This lotion worked great on me. It totally cleared my acne and red spots. Yes I break out once in awhile, but the this is by far the best thing to clear my face acne.

Later, you can use a good moisturizer.
I'm using Olay Sensitive Moisture Therapy Lotion It has Aloe, Vitamin E, B3, B5, 100% Fragrance and Color Free and Non- Comedogenic.
It doesn't have SPF 15. But you dont need this in winter.

In the summer I use, Olay Complete UV Defense Moisture Lotion for sensitive Skin. It has Aloe, Vitamin E, SPF 15 and Zinc Oxide. Its Non- Comedogenic.

2. Your current problems may be a result of hormones in your body going through changes. Birth control pills might help to regulate them.

Anyway, OTC products have never done much for me, but if you're acne isn't so bad, try it and see! I would NOT, however, suggest going down the Proactiv road.

Morning: Wash with Neutrogena Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub. Then apply the Multi Vitamin Acne Treatment all over your face. It's a lotion, so it will help moisturize too.

Night: Wash with Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash. Don't use the Blackhead Eliminating scrub, because you should only exfoliate once a day. It can damage your skin if you are scrubbing all the time. Then apply the Multi Vitamin Acne Treatment all over your face, and use the On-the-spot Acne Treatment on any active pimples.

use his packaging.And Dun think he himself.He drugs refuse to tell me what the actual products can be found, though it seems to have effective.I stop the medication when it is too expensive.

but you do have the right to know what the ingredients in these products are so ask your derm. of course he's not going to tell you the brand alternative available in shops but at least if for example the cream had benzoyl peroxide in at a certain percentage (he/she should tell you this too) you could seek something similar in the shops. same goes for the face wash.

The best way to correct this is to avoid reinfection and to start using acne fighting products consistently. I would look into products that contain beta hydroxy acids (salicylic acid) OR alpha hydroxy acids (esp. glycolic acid). BHAs are better at reaching deep down under the surface and entering the pore to dissolve oil and exfoliate the skin. AHAs are good at improving cell surface turnover (exfoliation) but do not go beyond the surface and can not dissolve oil. Never use both an BHA and AHA at the same time.

Has someone there began after the birth control Spiro? Every pill that I have even on those who are considered good for acne made me break out horribly I had to stop. I started with the patch and was told that the spiro-product, the acne at bay. Im just looking for some reassurance. thanks

You might get an inital breakout, and your skin might get worse. That's not a reason to quit using the birth control though. Your body needs time to become used to the hormones, which can take several months.

Too many women stop birth control after only a few weeks of use because of breakouts. They don't realize that this is what happens, and the acne usually reduces in a few cycles.

When you all have done, what I do washing and drying my face, then you treat apply to your face. You will notice that the water, but stay on your face. Once you put it all on your face you leave it on for about 3-5 minutes. Then, you scubs light your face. The crushed asprin makes an awesome, yet gentle scrub, expecially with the ACV. Then just wash it off with cool / hot water. That is, your face smooth, radiant and hopefully soon youll find, like me, that your acne will clear and less frequently return.
