i residual hyperpigmentation using the pill years ago (that do major damage to my skin, not acne was not bad enough) and now I tried the dark spots to be treated with glycolic acid and azelex. but I go on vacation in a sunny spot for one week (thank God, Boston is killing me) and I have a good, non-acnegenic sunblock.
any advice? thanks so much!
February 22nd, 2011 admin For those of you who have used it, it is good to use just at night and my Rist Rain during the day to maintain results? It is OK after my makeup, but Ive noticed that makes me a tad fatter. (I do not want to have to pile on a skin-Matti proud, too.)

February 5th, 2011 admin Reply:I am a 25 year old male as well. Right now I use J& J Purpose clear cleanser, followed by a Biore 2% Sali. Acid Toner and some Benzamycin.Every other night I use Tazorac on past blemishes.
I also just started taking 75 mg of Doryx.
I am also looking for a new cleanser and or toner. [...]

Also . when these medicines on your face (like Differin and Azelex) How much do you use and will make a difference if you do not use the exact right amount?
January 1st, 2011 admin I am currently using the Proactiv system twice a day with Azelex in the morning. I am thinking of adding Retin-A at night instead of benzoyl peroxide in the Proactiv system. Is that a bad idea? My new regime would look like this:
Morning:
Proactiv detergent (benzoyl peroxide)
Proactiv toner (glycolic acid)
Azelex (Azelaic acid)
Proactiv lotion (benzoyl peroxide)
Evening:
Cetaphil detergent (not benzoyl peroxide)
Proactiv toner (glycolic acid)
December 26th, 2010 admin Hi, Im new to the boards. Im 32 women who have just started experiencing bad breakouts about 7 months ago. They are the cystic type that are huge and hurt. Well, I finally went to the derm and he put me on Doxy. I love that! But he wants me to go off, so this last week I stopped, not three days later, big break out! So he put me back on, but Azelex cream. He feels it is weaning me off. I used the ice in the Azelex Klaron hours and at night. Has anyone used this cream before Azelex? Im also takin
December 8th, 2010 admin ok, so I stopped after 8 weeks and begins Tazorac azelex acid . my face has become a beautiful shade of cranberry red while Tazorac . , this is the way to go because my face is irritated?

Here is some background first: In my first derm visit: I was prescribed azelex, clindamycin and doxycycline. I stop using the anitbiotic and clindamycin, and now Im just using azelex. I went back to the derm and he prescribed more azelex – 45 grams (of 30 I was using) and Retin A 0.025% – 45 grams (which I never used). I deleted the azelex however, very significant, I have many small bumps and blackheads and whiteheads that I need to get rid of. Im just
November 22nd, 2010 admin Okay, so I came here a while back the question of what to do for my “after notice”. I had acne and after a while when actauly pimples went away still like ooked acnes (although smotth) b / c of the red marks!
I went TO doctor and he said to the first use something to STOP the pimples (antibiotics, differin gel). Then make those red stains disappear using this Azelex Cream. My face looks so much better and although there is some hint of red on my cheeks that helped a lot. So if anyone
