Hi! I am a new member. I am 32 years old and I have acne since I was 19. Ive tried everything. Retin-A worked fine for me when I was younger and then I went through a period of having children and nursing continued to be away from it for many years. admin Ok, so I never really exfoliate. I decided to do the baking soda. I did this week twice. After the first time I felt like I had great skin. Well, now I feel like my skin looks terrible. There are little bumps popping up everywhere. Some large bumps 
Is this normal? Is exfoliation blackheads and allowing things to the surface? Is this something I should keep doing and hope that even better? Or is it possible that Im used to break out baking soda and I should stop?

January 27th, 2011 admin I have used both baking soda and aspirin independently, but . would there be any disadvantages to making a mask with baking soda and aspirin? I got this last night, but only used as a scrub and it seemed to work fine.

December 29th, 2010 admin Im not sure why there is no content to my message when I click, but if you can experience the same thing, my message basically alluded to the fact that you spend the whole thread to read before you start using nothing.
For example, I used almost the egg yolk mask until I read the whole thread and discovered it was a disaster for humans. Unfortunatley I actually use the soda method that caused such a terrible outbreak on my face and Im still cleaning up that mess three months later. A

I
was FIIIIINE in lemon juice / baking soda mask night and morning / night when the wires said, for 10 days no pimple, and large cystic and some other smallerm gone! I thought everything was perfect and I finally found my cure!
Then suddenly yesterday: large painful cystic pimple on my forehead and another on my chin!
I do not know what wrong ?

July 9th, 2010 admin Im using St Ives Apricot Scrub Medicated 1-2 times a week for almost 2 years now and its been nice. But lately I seem to become more gentle exfoliation need more often (almost daily) so Im looking for a more gentle scrub.
Any suggestions?
Any regular exfoliation suggestions are welcome. I have no complaints about the St Ives Medicated but I never really tried anything else (apart from Baking Soda = irritates me), so a change might not be such a bad thing . you know what th
