admin Ive been using Paulas choice of 2.5% BP on my face twice a day as part of my regimine.
I still some lovely buggers pop up and I have been putting Persagel 10% BP on this, but it does not seem to do anything. The spots just always stuck. It really does not seem to disappear at all, the pimple will eventually come to a head, and then slowly fade, but it takes DAYS.
Am I just do not respond to BP? Do other people get a faster response? I wonder if I cut the BP out of my rout
January 22nd, 2011 admin I have a mild form of acne, maybe one or two poor white cups a week, and some red spots on my face. Since it isnt that bad im not going to dermatoligist unless none of these drugs over the counter work.
So can anyone tell me what is best for a cream? and also a face wash.
BTW can I use micro bead face wash and then use 10% benzoyl peroxide acne cream Clearisil Ultra and hardly a dry skin, I think its because Ive always BP. So I dont really care if the med is hard on the ski
January 20th, 2011 admin I do not know what to do. My acne is getting worse and worse. Benzoyl peroxide seems it would be good, but it really dries out my skin and makes it redder. The cream I use is a 10% concentration. Would a lower concentration so effective? (And yes, I do moisturize).

I have used both and find they all work well for certain conditions. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. I have combination skin – oily and dry . I have white head / minimum blackheads and closed comedones much along the sides of my face. What do you think?
January 1st, 2011 admin I am currently using the Proactiv system twice a day with Azelex in the morning. I am thinking of adding Retin-A at night instead of benzoyl peroxide in the Proactiv system. Is that a bad idea? My new regime would look like this:
Morning:
Proactiv detergent (benzoyl peroxide)
Proactiv toner (glycolic acid)
Azelex (Azelaic acid)
Proactiv lotion (benzoyl peroxide)
Evening:
Cetaphil detergent (not benzoyl peroxide)
Proactiv toner (glycolic acid)
January 1st, 2011 admin Okay, maybe benzoyl peroxide is not for me . Tonight in bed, my face gradually more and more hurt. It feels like Im really bad sunburn! So I just went all out and washed my face. Unfortunately, it did not feel that much better . but at least I can feel somewhat comforted in the knowledge that I have not another 8 hours of sleep that stuff on my face! December 31st, 2010 admin Is it smart to use a wash with 0.5 salicyic acid 5% benzoyl peroxide and then use every other day with it? If it isnt, I just stop using the BP and just use the dishwasher?

December 25th, 2010 admin Hello everyone, Fortunately, my skin is not as bad and usually looks good but I still get those annoying pimples about every week and if I hurt really bad and they are very clear. Ive tried all of salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide and differentiation even temporarily working, but not get rid of my acne for good. I want my skin to treat the inside where it all begins, now wouldnt accutane solve this problem? My question is, will a derm prescribe Accutane me, although my skin isint so bad? thank
