i residual hyperpigmentation using the pill years ago (that do major damage to my skin, not acne was not bad enough) and now I tried the dark spots to be treated with glycolic acid and azelex. but I go on vacation in a sunny spot for one week (thank God, Boston is killing me) and I have a good, non-acnegenic sunblock.
any advice? thanks so much!

June 18th, 2011 admin I was wondering if using both a pill and antibiotics (doxycycline Ortho Cyclen and in my case) had the opposite effect? Is the effectiveness of the other hinder in terms of its ability to clear individaul skin? I am currently on both, but ultimately want to get off the antibiotics and I hope the pill will keep my clarity.

March 25th, 2011 admin I finished the third week on ortho tricycle. Not sexually active, main reason the pill to clear up my skin. I am close to my sixth week on Retin-A (general) and some painful cysts on my forehead. Because I combine Retin-A and ortho tricycle I can not say whether either was actually my skind worse.
Anyway, each pill actually worked for each of you? I know of women who were clear and went to the ortho-tricycle and developed acne. But for those of you who started with moderate acne pill
March 1st, 2011 admin What the heck . My skin was getting better and suddenly I got this flare. Im not sure I got a reaction to the glycolic acid and clearisil stick that I used. Or maybe its Lo Ovaral pill (used as ECP). Or maybe the stress of worryin to much.

February 25th, 2011 admin I currently Yasmin BCP, 25mg spiro (go see if I can take up to 50 mg), zinc, B complex, and C.
I wouuld like more herbs / vitamins to help w / my hormonal acne, and androgens take . . as omega-3 and Saw Palmetto, but I think if it will decrease the effectiveness of my pill since they affect hormones? I do not want to end up doing to my good pill or pregnant. Doctors dont seem to know too much about this when I ask – of course.
February 24th, 2011 admin Hi . My daughter has acne for about 4 years now and was pretty much cleaned up until the pill. It did not happen straight away. It was about 3 months in the making, she began to break with all those little bumps all over her forehead and nose. I was wondering whether its not on a low dose pill. Maybe too much estrogen? The acne medication that shes not seem to work for her anymore. She stood duac, but this month switched to bezeclen thats pretty much the same thing. Any suggestions? Thanks
January 23rd, 2011 admin hi, im thinking about going on birth control to help with acne . I seem to break out really bad before and after my period . Also I only get my period about 4 times a year . Of course theres something wrong . I think I might be a hormonal imbalance . I also get quite depressed about my period . Im 16 also . what kind of pill is best for helping with hormonal acne and the pill was making my skin worse? what kind of results can I expect? like how long does it take to notice a difference? October 25th, 2010 admin Please help. I stopped taking the pill (Loestrin) two months ago. My husband and I are trying to become pregnant. Since I stopped taking the pill, I have been suffering from the worst acne Ive ever seen. I have a combination of cystic acne and whiteheads, and they accumulate mainly around my mouth and jawline. Has anyone else experienced acne after stopping a pill? Is there something you did helped? I can not on a prescription acne medication because I was trying to become pregnant. Its so frust
