I go to the dermatologist for probably the fifth time in the past year to see. Every time I go he gives me something new that doesnt work. I am on Retin-A Micro and it works on the conservation of acne, but my face is red and peel every day. I am also taking Doxycycline, which does not work. Hey everyone,
Im a 6 foot, 180 lbs guy. I start Accutane for acne body on the weekend (my face is clear except for the odd couple normal spots here and there that everyone gets).
Ive chose to start on 20 mg for 4 weeks, then 20 mg and varied 40mgs for a month, perhaps alternating 40 mg and 60 mg than after. This sounds like a good plan or too low?

Ive recently improved my diet. Ive noticed that my face is improving, butmy body is definitely behind. I have terrible body acne, worse than my face really, and Im wondering if its normal for the body longer than the face to respond to dietary changes. I think Im just looking for encouragement to stay on course on healthy eating thing.
Ive heard about that stuff. Some have said that he cleaned up and never returned. Im 16 and I do not know how to tell my mom to be head and shoulders will clear my chest acne lol.

Lately my skin, and I have some suggestions on what product would help me the most.
My skin condition is mild I guess, and probably typical of my age (16): visible pores on my nose, but not too drastic, slightly oily, occasionally a cyst anyway, “real” spots very rare (only red stains arising from me squeezing blemishes), body acne mild, very occasional spots on my back and chest .
My diet is not in the best shape, I will admit.
(Deleted) Basically this is using a toothbrush to scrub the face during the shower in the morning with soap base. Use Neosporin to any places, active pimples or red spots. I do not know the theory behind it, although perhaps the exfoliation process. Im going to try this, but my problem is I have body acne and am wondering how Im going to scrub my entire upper body with a toothbrush!
Just wanted to let everyone know that I am still using the aspirin mask on my face and body acne with incredible results! This is the first time in years I am quite clear, face and body and I can wear suits, wear tank tops, bare or just with my boyfriend. It is such great therapy for acne! It is so easy, too, and cheap! I have a nasty case of acne on the body of the moment and have tried many treamtents. I am currently four weeks of trimethoprim 600 mg daily treatment with antibiotics and Retin A 0.25. Not working yet (in fact things are much worse, Retin A breakout perhaps?) Is it a bit early to expect results?
