I use a combination of Azelaic acid in the am and 2% topical erythromycin gel at night. Has anyone used the gel before erythromycin and if so, howd ya do on it? I have used before and it worked beautifully benzaycin. Ive just never known about current erythromycin so far .

Erythromycin stop safely? [erythromycin] [5 months]
July 21st, 2010 admin I use erythromycin along with Retin-A for about 4-5 months now and my acne is now finally under control I have many red spots and scars, however, and I heard that the bodys own antibiotics also repaired units to kill. Why is it ok to stop the erythromycin and carry on with Retin-A? Will this cause the acne to build resistance?
