Any of a problem with dry nose? Mine is just too unbearable and I do not know what kind of product I should use.

I just got home from work and put vasaline in my nose lol. God, it's such a relief! I never thought I'd be happy to do something like that. I'll test out the cetaphil moisturizer and see what works best for me.

Doesn't sound weird to me at all. Anything that will bring relief is much appreciated!

Ok, this may sound weird, but my brother uses Vaseline, he puts a bit on a q-tip and umm.. sticks it inside. hehe

Now many times, picking at pimples is a quick way to get scars, but has anyone here actually rarely or never to get their acne, and still scar? I never get, and still end up with brands! Go figure. : Bouncing: undefined

Anyways, I heard about the egg white mask and how it has helped people . but probably I will not try, simply because my experience with egg masks in the past.

I Accutane from just about a month ago and Im only ugly red scars. If you know how to get rid of these things let me know.

I just want you to know that you're Legendary…
When i first got onto this board i read that huge thread that you started it…all of it i mean…at the time it was like 42 pages or so…took me like a day and a half . Good i got through it all…else i might have destroyed myself with that egg thing. just saying nice to finally hear from you in person…with a recent post that is.

p.s. It wasn't just me that broke out after about a month of using the mask. It was quite a few people.

I am using the egg yolk mask and will continue, right now I need a short term solution to my acne and in a months time I will be 4 and a half months into my accutane and hopefully it will be strong enough to control any break out that I may get.

Im just curious here. Did you ever find someone with acne “attractive” despite the situation on his / her face? Do you think acne affects those functions and make them worse?

I personally met some girls, not so long ago that suffered from acne, I have to admit that they were absolutely beautiful even with all the redness around their face, they still looked good. Am I the only one who feels this way? : P

So, in my opinion those of you who (like myself) are unable to look past skin problems' of others aren't to blame–you simply follow your "survive and spread your genes" instincts. Those rare individuals who reportedly CAN ignore pimples are to be respected, since they've went against their natures and achieved a higher philosophical understanding of the skin. (I should become a buddhist monk in Tibet one day…aren't I good!?). On a more practical level, i've never had problems with my realtions with gorgeous girls despite my zits–perhaps it's because I only fall for smart ones who don't follow their natural instincts so easily (other than those for sex, that is) or maybe because they are blind…the latter being more likely. Perhaps the root cause of it all is that I refuse to be depressed by this illness, since I know for a fact that I'm putting out 100% of effort to get rid of them and there is no reason to be deppressed over something beyond my control. Besides, I'm self confident–zits or not, and that probably inspires confidence and allows them to ignore my small (but numerous:() faults.

i feel like i can find girls attractive when they have acne, especially because i know so much about it myself and can appreciate the fact that we both went out for a night even when our faces not looking so good.

the few girls i know that have acne do not have it too bad, but i can tell they try to cover it up like crazy. however one of the girls if it is just me and her i notice she doesnt wear any makeup, i kinda like that she feels comfortable around me with her face and it doesnt make her any less attractive. i guess i feel like we are bonding, hehe.

anyways, if a girl is hot, she is hot, and to me at least, acne doesnt have much of an effect. and even talking to my guys (most of whom have never had acne) about those girls being hot or not – they never bring up acne.

malia, those guys that mock girls because of their acne probably never had any serious situations on their face, they'll never learn how it feels to be made fun of until they get it, anyway, not everyone is like that.

Maybe your so incredibly good looking that girls only feel they can approach you when you have flaws. There's a good way to look at it.

I agree. I think acne is the first thing people see, and thats why girls never get to know who i am, because i don't get a chance, because acne is in the way. Sigh, i need to find me a girl with acne then, but thing is, guys don't care as much as girls do about acne. Most girls ive seen with acne, have boyfriends..so..grrrr.

Anyways, I have since cleared up, but even now I still redmarks left over from the breakout a few months ago. They are flat, not indented or bumpy or anything like that. I wonder how long it will take for them to leave, if they ever disappear? I know people said things like aloe very gel, but would that even work for me at this point? Its not like they are irritated or anything, its just that theyre different colors of the rest of my skin.

For all of you who have had success with B5, you have to eliminate caffeine or stop eating fat, while using the supplement? The reason I ask is because a website said that the caffeine destroys B5, so it will not help your acne unless you cut out all caffeine.

Any truth in this?
