I am 17 years old and have had acne since I was about 13. I have been on amoxicillan, doxycycline, minocycline, and even some current stuff like differin and clyndamiacin. (Sp?) Nothing has cleared my acne. In fact, I think everything **** makes it worse. My first month on differin was the worst month of my life. I have been taking minocycline for like 4-5 days now 100 mgs 2 times a day and it seems like my face gets red like . Im not in the sun too much winter here . Im also breaking out kinda hardcore kinda noticed that my friend (I felt like ****) and its like I get small pimples to areas that I have never seen them in often as before the upper cheeks and my nose . They seem small, but I know I hope they dont get big . Now the redness may be because it is a bit hot here, but well see when it cools . s

for the past 2 months I was with minocycline and Tazorac, my skin was greatly improved . I had to stop minocycline about 2 weeks ago because I couldnt take the nausea and vomiting more, and I couldnt eat like 3-4 days. I was at the point where i didnt need minocycline . So now 2 weeks later to find that im breaking out im, im still using Tazorac . I am a teenage girl with severe cystic acne on my arms. Three weeks ago I started with the antibiotic minocycline. Im still really serious pimples on my arms. Any idea how long it takes to Minocycline finally doing his job?

You hear a stay at a high dose for as little time as possible, because your body is a resistance to any anti-biotic build, so they put me on a lower Completely dosage.

My dermatologists neglegence **** ed me over – Now

I started minoclycline about a month ago and I am ten times worse. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it normal to go through a period of deterioration before it gets better? Is this something I call the derm and let her know? She told me not to suffer, but in silence, but I want to know if anyone had a good experience after bad? Thanks so much.

After 5 days on Minocycline, my derm decided it was too strong for me (although I have absolutely no side effects) and put me on Vibramycin. I think it is a form of tetracycline. Does anyone know anything about this drug? Has anyone had any success? I am very dubious about this drug and how angry my doctor kept on switching me to different drugs. Any information would be apprecitated. Thanks!

um, this is a bit gross . and kind of hard to describe . but I do not know what to do. Im just starting minocycline and any pimples on my cheeks are starting to think I heal. In principle, the pimples dry up, and plug everything in their kind of pimples on pavement and just sit in my pores. Sometimes when I wash my face with my hands, the plugs come out. Sometimes they come in half and I squeeze a little . They are really easily.
