How long was your first breakout period when you first started Ortho tri cyclen? My daughter just finished her third pack and she is really broke. Maybe it has something to do with Tazorac began about a week ago? Do most of your weight on ortho? My daughter has gained about 5 pounds. Thanks to this forum is great everyone is so helpful.

which form of Tazorac are you using, with what results? 0.05% or 0.1% (gel or cream)

i going to start with Tazorac and want to know what are the best to use. also amount of irritation, etc. 0.

Not at all. I wash my face, wait 10 minutes then dry themselves, the Taz on my face, arms, chest, back, put, and shoulders. Then I take a pill Bactrum. My arms look slightly better, but everything looks exactly the same. All that did for me was making my skin peel.

I t use it for two months now. Ive tried Differin, Retin-A, Tazorac and the three years I went to the derm, along with about 5 different pills. Do you think Accutane will be next for me? I really hope that my derm to let me

Just looking for some answers. I made the mistake of starting them both at the same time five weeks ago. I have a lot of them at last from under the skin, where they have for at least 3 months away .

Just your thoughts on both. I use Tazorac for 5 minutes or more before washing face at night. and I use the cp serum am and pm after the use of jojoba oil (which Im hydrated with at least 3 months)

I was recently Clindamycin (pill form) and 0.05% Tazorac cream. I went back to the derm to see if I could gel in place, because the thick cream and felt a bit greasy on my face to try. Im going to Mexico in one month, but I take acne medication and will probably need help from you about what to use. My face is 99% clear (I get a pimple every now and then) but my chest and back are still problems. They feel pretty smooth, but not so good, because the red marks are so prevalent.

Here s what I am:

Tazorac 0.1% cream, night: 7 days a week, morning: 3-4 days / week (so every other morning)
Trimrepthopen (twice daily) – a species similar to Bactrum

In past years, I have acne on my back / shoulder area and upper arms, which is pretty bad in my eyes anyway. I tried clearing it with Proactiv body products since the facial line works for me, but without success. Finally I went to the doctor for something different and just yesterday started with the application of clindamycin in the morning after my shower and then Tazorac in the evening after washing. Anyone tried this and had no success? Thanks!

Hi, Ive been looking over the message boards here and there are a lot of posts from Tazorac users who say it took about 5 weeks to work. Well, im in week 9 now, and while my acne has gotten a bit better, I do not know / don t think itll ever clean up. Tazorac users have needed this long to wait to get positive results? please reply, im getting depressed here.

Ive worked so hard for a few months to get rid of this cystic acne on my chin and it keeps continuing. Tazorac, B5, birth control. I hope the Yasmin will kick in soon. I had the same breakout same seat errupting always more than two months. Its hell with exactly the same spots pretty much decide to camp on my face always. I feel my only option is Accutane, but its only on my chin, so I do not know whether a doctor prescribes.

Ive been engaged since February last week Tazorac Accutane. So, I had this brainstorm (and I hope its correct). As Taz is actually topical Accutane, it was all that “purify” I went by Taz on everything I will have? So far it seems that my skin is just better on Accutane, as I will not be the first breakthrough. Oh, I hope this is what happens!
