Im on spiro for about 3 months and Im seeing results, but not to the point I want to be. My chin is much clearer, but now my cheeks have broken for more information. I read good things about Yasmin, and I know they are similar drugs (spironoaldactone and drospirone), but Im not sure if I should try to switch. Any input would be so helpful!

September 29th, 2010 admin Hi just wondering if a derm can prescribe bc pills for acne? I have an appointment with a derm soon and are thinking about going on Yasmin. It would be great if they could write for a few months instead of waiting for a gyn appointment.

September 4th, 2010 admin I started Yasmin about 9 days ago mainly to help with my hormonal acne . My acne seems to get bad in a couple of cysts before my time, but after my period is always better. Well I started Yasmin on the first day of my period and have now passed, I am one to break out worse than me in a long time . Is it the “first” break-out? How long can it last if it is . ? I really need some advice . I just want to hide from the world now . lol

August 25th, 2010 admin My doctor has me on Yasmin bc recently with 25mg Spiro. Ive never heard of this small amount of spiro is thus the low dose is disappointing, but maybe cuz Im on Yasmin as well and just need a high dose?

July 19th, 2010 admin Im on Yasmin for about 16 days now or a little over 2 weeks and this is my first time bc I got the first breakthrough in the first week and nearly destroyed her now:) but my question is when taking the white pills because they dnt have hormones, I breakout again? I really hope not my first week of school during the white pills! Please thanks
