Ive been engaged since February last week Tazorac Accutane. So, I had this brainstorm (and I hope its correct). As Taz is actually topical Accutane, it was all that “purify” I went by Taz on everything I will have? So far it seems that my skin is just better on Accutane, as I will not be the first breakthrough. Oh, I hope this is what happens!
Now I prob. just cursed myself)
Thanks.
Reply:I'm so sorry, I didn't know your situation. Didn't want it to seem the way it sounded…
Thanks for the note of encouragement!
Hey, look at it this way, you could look like me, with tens of cysts exploding all over your chin and cheeks, not to mention the oil, to top it all off! No makeup even comes close to hiding anything
Maybe we just need to say, This is how it's going to be and live life to it's fullest! This can get to be such an obsession sometimes (o.k., every minute of the day!
) Easier said than done.
Take care.
Reply:I say lucky because I begged dermatologists in two different states for some 30 years to give me Accutane and to this day I still can't find someone to let me go on it. Now that my life is half over, I've lost the chance to be grease-free when it mattered most.
Yes, you're lucky to have the chance I never got.

Reply:Good point about the inside out thing. I guess I am just expecting the worst, since my derm said that he's pretty much my coach for the next five months, telling me, "don't worry it will get better, stick with it!" Maybe it's just that he's preparing me for the worst just in case it does happen.
You and I both know the purge cycle all too well, I am afraid.
Once is enough!
I hope I am one of the people that wonders why I didn't do this sooner.
Thanks.
Reply:I would think there's a big difference in something working from the inside out versus outside in, regardless of both being from the same vitamin. I just don't believe that any topical can affect your actual oil glands the way something internal can. I have yet to hear of anyone who got extremely oily skin and blemishes from Accutane like so many of us have from Taz or Retin-A.
Lucky you. I bet it works for you.
